Drug saliva test RightSign – Saliva Tracer – 7 drugs
The RightSign Multi-drug saliva test is designed for rapid and effective detection of common drugs such as amphetamine, methamphetamine, cocaine, ketamine, benzodiazepines, morphine and cannabis (THC).
This test is suitable for healthcare professionals and for use at locations such as Point of Care. It is also used for workplace checks and traffic inspections.
Within 30 seconds, the test collects enough saliva, which becomes visible via an indicator on the saliva collector. The collector is then placed in the test cassette, after which the process starts automatically. Additional buffer fluid is not required. A negative result can be visible within seconds.
This RightSign Multi-drug test is a saliva test designed to quickly and effectively test for the most common drug groups: Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Ketamine, Benzodiazepines, Morphine and Cannabis (THC). The RightSign saliva drug test is intended for use by healthcare professionals as well as for use at Point Of Care locations.
This multi-drug saliva test is a Lateral flow, chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of various drugs and drug metabolites in human saliva with the following thresholds:
Test | Calibrator | Threshold value (ng/mL) |
Amphetamine (AMP) | d-Amphetamine | 50 |
Methamphetamine (MET) | d-Methamphetamines | 50 |
Cocaine (COC) | Benzoylecgonine | 20 |
Benzodiazepines (BZO) | Oxazepam | 20 |
Marijuana (THC) | ^9-THC | 15 |
Ketamine (KET) | Ketamine | 30 |
Opiates / Morphine (MOP) | Morphine | 40 |
The test provides a preliminary analytical test result only. A more specific alternative chemical method should be applied to obtain a confirmed analytical result, preferably by Gas Chromatographic (tandem) Mass Spectometry (GC/MS/MS) or Liquid Chromatographic/tandem Mass Spectometry (LC/MS/MS). Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to any drug abuse test result and particularly when the preliminary test results are positive.
Short Manual
Allow the test cassette and other supplies to reach room temperature (15-30°C) before testing. Instruct the donor not to put anything in their mouth for at least 10 minutes prior to performing the test. This includes food, drinks, chewing gum, and tobacco products.
- Open the seal package, remove the test cassette from the package. Use the test within 1 hour after opening
- Instruct the donor to place the tongue against the palate or lower jaw so that saliva can be collected.
- Remove the saliva collector from the cassette and remove the protective cap
- Instruct the test subject to place the sponge between the lower jaw and the gums and gently rub it back and forth between the left and right cheeks and the gums until the sponge is completely saturated with saliva. The sponge should not be sucked, bitten or chewed as it may break
- Remove the saliva collector from the donor's mouth after 30 seconds. When the saturation indicator is red, the collector can be placed back into the test cassette. If the indicator has not changed color, additional saliva must be collected until it is red.
