Urine test panel One-Step multi-drug AMP/ COC/ BZO/ THC/ KET/ ETG
This One-Step Multi-Drug Urine Test is a drug of abuse test specifically designed to test for the most common drug classes: Amphetamine, Cocaine, Benzodiazepines, Marijuana, Ketamine, and Ethyl Glucuronide. This Multi-Drug Urine Test is intended for use by healthcare professionals as a qualitative screening In Vitro Diagnostic test for the detection of drug of abuse.
This test is very suitable for addiction care because it detects most common drugs including alcohol (ETG) up to 80 hours after last intake.
The test is a lateral flow, one-step immunoassay for the qualitative detection of specific drugs and their metabolites in human urine at the following thresholds:
Test | Calibrator | Threshold value (ng/mL) |
Amphetamine (AMP) | Amphetamine | 1,000 |
Cocaine (COC) | Benzoylecgonine | 300 |
Benzodiazepines (BZO) | Oxazepam | 300 |
Marijuana (THC) | 11-nor-^9-THC-9-COOH | 50 |
Ketamine (KET) | Ketamine | 1,000 |
Ethyl Glucuronide (ETG) | Ethyl Glucuronide | 500 |
The test is intended for rapid screening of intoxication in patients. It provides a qualitative preliminary test result. A more specific alternative chemical method should be used to obtain a confirmed analytical result, preferably by Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS). Clinical consideration and professional judgment should be applied to any drug abuse test result and particularly if the preliminary test results are positive.
Short Manual:
Allow the test cassette, urine sample and other supplies to reach room temperature before testing
- Open the seal packaging, remove the test cassette from the packaging.
- Remove the cap to expose the absorbent test strips.
- Dip the test strips into the urine sample for at least 10 to 15 seconds. Dip the test at least 2/3 of the length of the test strips but no deeper than the marked line on the front of the test cassette
- Replace the cap on the test cassette and place it flat on a clean, dry, non-absorbent surface
- Start the timer and read the result after 5 minutes. Do not read the result after 10 minutes .
* When ordering this test, the full manual (IFU) of the test One-Step Multi Drug Urine test panel is included, read this carefully before using the test. The IFU can also be downloaded from our website
Interpretation of the result:
Positive: 1 pink colored line appears in each Control box (C). In the Test box (T) no line appears indicating that the corresponding drug is measured above the detectable level.
Negative: 1 pink colored line appears in each Control (C) box and 1 in the Test (T) box. This indicates that the concentration of the corresponding drug is zero or below the detectable concentration.
Invalid: If no line appears in the Control box (C) or only a line appears in the Test box (T), the test is invalid. Insufficient sample material or procedural errors are the most common reasons for an incorrectly administered test. Repeat the test procedure with a new test.
Note: The line thickness or color intensity has no meaning.
Accuracy
This rapid test has an accuracy of 97.9% where the positive test results have been confirmed by GC/GM, see the IFU for a detailed overview of the accuracy per drug group.
